What happened in the trailer?
This trailer showed a
documentary-style highlights trailer featuring a story of a couple who go out
into a forest in search for bigfoot.
Which positive, cleaver or
interesting aspects do you think you could include in your own trailer? What
generic features are fulfilled well?
I really liked how this trailer felt like it
could actually be a documentary at the beginning, I think that set out a really
good harmony between the reason for the trip and the trailer. I also think that
the hand held camera technique was effective as it was also in keeping with the
plot of the film.
Which aspects of the trailer did
you think were unsuccessful, and would put off its target audience? How is it
disappointing?
This took far to long to get into
any actual horror footage, and using a voice over on the scene setting footage
removed any suspense that could have built up. While the story is fully set I
feel that the ending would be too predictable, and I think that this would put
off the target audience.
